Zones & geofencing
Use zones to organise dispatch coverage. Separately, use geofencing to stop drivers updating a job unless they are close enough to its pickup or drop-off.

Define the boundary
Create a zone on the map. Edit points, redraw the boundary or duplicate a saved area when your operation changes.
Connect the neighbours
Choose the neighbouring areas dispatch can consider when the pickup zone runs out of drivers.
Watch coverage
Review available drivers, queue counts and waiting work. Healthy, busy and short-on-drivers states help the desk spot pressure.
What does geofencing do in GridOps?
When enabled, geofencing checks the driver’s GPS distance from the booking location. A driver outside the configured drop-off distance cannot complete the job. Pickup-distance checks also apply to arrived, passenger-on-board and no-show updates. These checks are separate from dispatch zones.
Can the office control fallback areas?
Yes. The zone editor lets you link neighbouring zones, and the dispatch coverage controls include offer timing and outside-zone fallback settings.
